A walkthrough of a home designed around a single idea: a long central spine, one continuous line of light and material running from the front door to the deck. Book-matched stone, matte charcoal joinery, warm oak underfoot, nothing added that didn't need to be there.

The plan splits quietly into zones, formal living at the rear opening onto the garden, a family room and a second, softer retreat toward the front, each with its own mood but the same material language throughout. Light moves through the home via tall black-framed openings rather than a single dominant window, changing the feel of each space as the day shifts.

Every decision here, the hallway as axis, the continuity of the oak flooring, the way the kitchen island carries the same stone up as its splashback, was made in service of proportion and calm rather than spectacle. This is a look at the thinking behind the build, not a tour of its features.
