Kumamichi
Modernist Restraint: Stone, Light, Oak | Architectural Film
A look inside a home shaped by restraint, one continuous line of light and material running from the front door to the deck in book-matched stone, charcoal joinery, and warm oak. Less a tour of features, more a look at the thinking behind them.

Curiosity
(01)
Exploring the stories architecture, buildings, and places have to tell, close to home or far from it.
Since 2020 I have been deeply involved in the built environment, and somewhere along the way that turned into a real passion for the image itself. Kumamichi is where that passion gets to run free: a personal project to explore my own creativity through the lens, while getting closer to the craft of the people who design and build the spaces we live in.
That curiosity is exactly why Kumamichi exists as a YouTube series. It’s where I get to put a voice behind the image, and show how I actually see the architectural places I visit.

From my desk
(04)
A record of memories and places, that shaped my creative journey.
Thoughts, ideas, and moments that shape the way I see the world. It isn’t only about photography or architecture, but the wider process of creating, making and observing. Some entries are stories, others are experiments, all connected by curiosity and a search for meaning in creative work.
Kumamichi is a project by Fuentesalvaro, photography and film for architects and designers. If you’re curious what we could do for your practice, let’s talk.
